Editing and Regenerating Sections

Your AI-generated proposal is a starting point, not a final draft. Here's how to refine it to perfection.

Editing Content

Click on any section to enter edit mode:

• Direct editing - Type directly in the editor
• Rich formatting - Bold, italic, lists, tables
• Undo/Redo - Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y (Cmd on Mac)

Regenerating Sections

Not happy with a section? Regenerate it:

1. Click the section menu (three dots)
2. Select "Regenerate"
3. Optionally add guidance (e.g., "Make it more technical")
4. Click "Generate"

The AI creates a new version while preserving your other edits.

Regeneration Tips

For better results, provide specific guidance:

Instead of...	Try...
"Make it better"	"Add more specific metrics and outcomes"
"Too long"	"Condense to 2 paragraphs focusing on key benefits"
"More detail"	"Expand on our team's relevant experience"

Section-by-Section Editing

Executive Summary

• Keep it under 1 page
• Lead with the client's main challenge
• End with your unique value proposition

Technical Approach

• Be specific about methodologies
• Include timelines where relevant
• Reference similar past projects

Team & Qualifications

• Highlight relevant experience
• Include specific credentials
• Match team expertise to requirements

Version History

CraftRFP saves your edit history:

1. Click "Version History" in the toolbar
2. View previous versions with timestamps
3. Restore any previous version if needed

Auto-Save

Your changes are automatically saved every 30 seconds. Look for the "Saved" indicator in the header.
